Total Count Broth with TTC is used for detection and enumeration of total bacteria. Bacteria produce a range of different sized colonies. The product is made in accordance with the American Public Health Association (APHA) formulation. Colonies produce a red colour as a result of the precipitation of formazan following the reduction of 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) by bacteria.
